The service
MUATOO is a professional network for the makeup world. By creating an account you accept these terms. The service is still being built: some features may change or be unavailable.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old and give accurate information.
- You are responsible for your password and for what happens with your account.
- A username grants no trademark rights; we may reassign usernames that impersonate other people or brands.
Your content
What you publish stays yours. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to show it inside MUATOO and in the link previews of your profile when it is shared. Only publish work you hold the rights to and, if people appear in it, with their consent.
Project credits
A credit on MUATOO means one specific thing: the person named said yes. It does not mean MUATOO has checked that the work happened, or who did what. What we verify is the confirmation, not the facts.
Whoever creates a project entry can correct it. If they change the title, the type or the date — what identifies the work — credits that were already confirmed go back to pending and the team has to confirm them again. A confirmation backs the work that was signed, not whatever comes after.
You can withdraw a credit of yours that you had confirmed at any time, without giving reasons.
Claiming someone else’s work, confirming false credits, or asking for confirmations in exchange for anything, is grounds for suspension, and the affected credits are removed. When an account is suspended for this, the credits it confirmed may be reviewed.
Opportunities and castings
Posting a casting call means it is real, that you are of legal age and that you can answer for it. Asking applicants for money on any grounds —tests, books, holding a spot— is forbidden, and so is offering minors any work involving nudity or underwear. MUATOO does not handle payments and does not guarantee any casting call: whoever hires and whoever shows up agree between themselves.
What is not allowed
- Impersonating other people or brands.
- Publishing illegal or offensive content, or content that infringes the rights of others.
- Using the platform for spam, scraping or any unauthorised automated access.
Free of charge
MUATOO is free for artists. Paid services, if they ever exist, will be aimed at brands and companies and will have their own terms.
Suspension and closing your account
We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You can close your account whenever you want; your profile will stop being visible and your data will be handled as described in the privacy policy.
Liability
The service is offered as is. We are not a party to agreements between users (a booking for an event, for example) and we are not answerable for whether they are honoured.
